Lactic Acid

AHA/ chemical exfoliant

  • can be used by all (sensitive skin should patch test, can irritate the skin)

  • less side effects as compared to other AHAs as the molecule size is bigger 
  • water soluble
  • brightens the skin
  • removes dead skin cells

Mix it up with

  • BHA
  • retinol if your skin is used to it

(can cause irritation if used with retinol, so start with a mild version of retinol & build it up) 

use at night, after cleansing & before moisturising. Follow it up with SPF in the morning.

Liquorice Extract
